How it works:

  • Minimum order quantity 50 kg
  • You deliver or send your block wax to us with a completed order request; alternatively, we can collect your wax from you at one of the events which we attend.
  • We clarify your wax to remove remaining impurities. The clarified wax is sterilised by boiling for one hour at 130°C. This kills any pathogens present such as nosema and foulbrood spores.
  • The wax is cast in a continuous process on our fully automatic foundation machine before sheets are cut to the required size(s).
  • A small quantity of clarified and sterilised wax (approximately 5 kg) will be left over from the processing. This can either be returned to you with your order, or we can retain this residual wax as credit against the processing cost.
  • If required, stainless steel wire is embedded in the foundation sheets.
  • Your foundation is packed carefully in eco-friendly packaging.
  • You collect your foundation from us, or we send it to you by parcel or pallet carrier; alternatively you can collect your foundation from us at one of the beekeeping events which we attend.
  • Worker foundation only, cell size 5.4 mm.

We aim to process all orders with a quick turnaround.

If you are wanting to collect your foundation from us at an event, please plan ahead and allow plenty of time for processing.
